I’m not particularly fond of the idea, mainly because I would be rather embarrassed to have a game with an M rating around the house. My parents are involved in this discussion, too, since 13-year old Danny isn’t allowed to buy the game on his own, of course. I cannot veto him totally, but I would like to find and suggest an alternative fighting game clone of Mortal Kombat. The only systems we have are a Gamecube and our 2004 PC, which runs relatively well. Any ideas?

My parents and wife went in to get me a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. I received a copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as well as a couple other games. I got LoZTP last Christmas for my Gamecube, and I have beaten the game as well as found everything in it. Is the Wii version totally different besides the control? Is it worth keeping for the controls or should I return it since I already have the game for Gamecube? I was thinking of returning it and exchanging it for Metroid or Paper Mario. What do you think?

I can’t really test if the Wii will recognise the pad as a dance pad if I plug it in via USB as I don’t have the game to test it yet… the friend who has offered it to me lives 300 miles away and it would be pointless her mailing it to me if I can’t actually play it!
