  • What’s a good clone of Mortal Kombat?

    Ben W asked:

My younger brother by two years is looking into buying a copy of one of the Mortal Kombat games, probably ‘Deception’. I’m not particularly fond of the idea, mainly because I would be rather embarrassed to have a game with an M rating around the house. I’m not particularly squeemish about the blood or anything, but the prospect of coming home from school and seeing him playing an exceptionally violent game doesn’t appeal to me. My parents are involved in this discussion, too, since 13-year old Danny isn’t allowed to buy the game on his own, of course. I cannot veto him totally, but I would like to find and suggest an alternative fighting game clone of Mortal Kombat. The only systems we have are a Gamecube and our 2004 PC, which runs relatively well. Any ideas?

My parents and wife went in to get me a Nintendo Wii for Christmas. I received a copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess as well as a couple other games. I got LoZTP last Christmas for my Gamecube, and I have beaten the game as well as found everything in it. Is the Wii version totally different besides the control? Is it worth keeping for the controls or should I return it since I already have the game for Gamecube? I was thinking of returning it and exchanging it for Metroid or Paper Mario. What do you think?

  • Nintendo Wii/TX1501 DDR pad compatibility?

    amandamccabe@btinternet.com asked:

Does anyone know if I can use my TX1501 metal DDR pad with my Nintendo Wii? I’ve been offered a copy of Mario Mix for the gamecube (which of course was packed away when my Wii joined the family!). I didn’t have a dance pad for the Gamecube anyway, so that’s irrelevant.
I can’t really test if the Wii will recognise the pad as a dance pad if I plug it in via USB as I don’t have the game to test it yet… the friend who has offered it to me lives 300 miles away and it would be pointless her mailing it to me if I can’t actually play it! :)

Ok, I know most of you would say buy a PlayStation, that is just not an option form me, I’ve heard some say that there are emulators you can install but do those really work and more importantly are they safe?
Amazon and ebay users want to charge 50 -250 dollars which is quite ridiculous, the only other consoles I have are n64, gamecube, wii and ds

So is it really best to try to emulate a playstation or does someone know where I can find a copy.
Or is there a PC game download site I can really trust? (and I mean download legally)

Hello, is this thing working??? asked:

Ok here we go I’m selling my Xbox 360 on eBay. I’ve previously sold my PS2, Gamecube, & PSP on eBay so I’m familiar with it. Ok so here is what I have….

-Xbox 360 Premium with 30Gig Harddrive

-Wired Controller Only (Sold Wireless a while ago)

    -Intec Glow Stand

    -Original Xbox 360 Headset

    -Ethernet Cord for Xbox Live

-7 Games (Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty 4 with two copies, Need For Speed: Carbon, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat, & Grand Theft Auto 4)

So how much do you think I would get for it. Do you think I would get a price near this guy since we basically have the same amount of stuff.

Also I have good rep on eBay my feedback score is 24 so I should attract good buyers
